Past projects

Nutcracker at the Weston Library

In partnership with English National Ballet, MuMo Creative led a festive and creative dance workshop at the Weston Library, University of Oxford, together with our Dance for Parkinson’s group to mark the end of 2024 and our first year as a charity. The workshop was based on ENB’s new production of the Nutcracker. We were joined by members of the public and musicians from the Oxford University Graduate Orchestra.

MuMo Creative at the Jitterbug

In the summer 2024, MuMo Creative was commissioned to create and deliver a workshop, Transfiguration: the power of music and dance, at the Jitterbug produced by The Cultural Programme, University of Oxford, and Trigger as part of the Oxford Kafka 2024 celebrations. This workshop was inspired by Kafka’s Metamorphosis and co-created by MuMo Creative and our incredible Dance for Parkinson’s group. We combined live music, sound work, movement and creative tasks to explore the transformative effects of dance and music.

Kafka 2024 at the Weston Library

Drawing inspiration from Kafka’s metamorphosis, our workshop, Transfiguration: the power of music and dance, at the Weston Library combined live music, dance and creative exercises to boost physical and mental wellbeing, and to celebrate the transformative effects of dance and music. The workshop that offered a synergy of sound, movement and creativity was co-created with our Dance for Parkinson’s group.
